网站描述： 海南华侨中学创办于1938年，是中国最早的国立华侨中学，先后在昆明、贵阳、重庆办学，1946年迁址海口。现为海口市教育局直属的公立完全中学、海南省重点中学、省一级甲等学校。目前拥有海秀路高中部和西海岸初中部两个校区，共占地360余亩。 Hainan Overseas Chinese High School was founded in 1938 and is the earliest national overseas Chinese secondary school in China. It has successively operated in Kunming, Guiyang and Chongqing, and moved to Haikou in 1946. It is now a public complete secondary school directly under the Haikou Education Bureau, a provincial key high school and a Class A First-Grade School in Hainan Province. Currently, it has two campuses, namely the High School Department on Haixiu Road and the Junior High School Department on the West Coast, covering a total area of over 360 mu. 学校师资雄厚，人杰毕至。沈从文、张兆和、查良钊、陈序经等先贤曾在校工作。目前有教职工565人，中高级教师占比83%，其中有正高级教师10人，全国优秀教师2人，国家教学名师1人，特级教师2人，省级优秀教师4人，省级学科带头人6人，省级骨干教师65人。在校学生7800余人，校园环境优美，设施一流，配套完整，功能齐全。 The school boasts a strong faculty and attracts outstanding talents. Renowned scholars such as Shen Congwen, Zhang Zhaohua, Zha Liangzhao and Chen Xuxing once worked at this school. Currently, there are 565 staff members, among whom 83% are middle and senior teachers.
